“I thought you said you don’t work on Gold Wings!” Yeah, we don’t. But this was a trade-in.

Under 81,000 miles. The color is named “Crucible Orange Metallic”, which is pretty bad-assed if you’re a Gold Wing. Six cylinders, 1800cc. Six gears. Electric reverse. The key fob locks and unlocks the trunk, too. I’m not even kidding. It also tells you if you left one of the saddlebags or trunk open.

Audio system handles CB, AM/FM, and weather band. The CB does not include headsets or cables or any of that. So call it “CB ready” I guess. The stereo can accept a CD player, but there is no CD player installed on this bike. And the auxiliary input involves a special connector. You can fool with that; we will not.

Cruise control: Feature is present but I haven’t been able to get it working. Have not attempted to diagnose whether there’s a fault or I’m just too stupid to learn how to use it.

Accessories: Various previous owners have added chromed things. Luggage rack. Floorboards with heel-toe gear shifter. Fancy floorboards and armrests for your pillion. Flag holders (the right side one has a stripped bolt so we left it on there.) Various LED accent lights. And the fog lights turn on using an aftermarket switch for some reason. Oh and it’s set up for a trailer hitch already. Not that I recommend towing trailers with motorcycles, but lots of people do. And there’s a bike cover included (visible in the shot of the right saddlebag).

Rear suspension adjustment and headlight adjustment are both working.

We replaced the fork seals, the front brake pads, the front tire (Shinko), and the air filter. The rear tire (Bridgestone) is dated from 2022, and it’s got plenty of tread left.

Buy it today and ride it to Las Vegas. Without too much effort, you can get there the day after tomorrow.

$7,000 as-is, stock #9097.
