Odometer reads 6,279 miles as of 7/22/2021. Previous owner was moving out of town and hadn’t ridden it in a few years. We cleaned the carburetor and took care of all the neglected maintenance. It now has new tires and tubes, a new chain, a new battery with charging lead, new air filter, new engine oil and filter, new spark plugs, fresh brake fluid, and more. The rear seat is also new — we got it with no seat there and felt it looked a bit strange without it.
After all that, we rode it about 150 miles to give it some exercise and make sure it wasn’t hiding any problems from us.
The photos below are an attempt to show the blemishes we thought were obvious: some corrosion on the handlebars and rear rack, on the seat, and on the fuel tank.
